In 2010 Circus Couture benefited St. Baldrick’s. St. Baldrick’s is the leading charity funding Pediatric Cancer Research in the US.

The Goal of Circus Couture was to raise $50,000. This money was used to secure a match from St. Baldrick’s. The $100,000 matched funds went to The Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases of Las Vegas.

The St. Baldrick's foundation agreed to match the funds raised by Circus Couture and grant them directly to Dr. Bernstein's local las vegas clinic.  Circus Couture reached the $50,000 goal, and St. Baldrick's matched the donation and granted $100,000 directly to the clinic.  The Children's center used the funds to hire a Nurse Case Manager for the clinic.  The nurse case manager provides a multitude of services for the clinic that will streamline efficiency and assure a higher quality of care for Dr. Bernstein's patients.  A major focus of the position will be to oversee and make clinical trial and study opportunities more available to Nevada's patients.

The Children's Center is Nevada's only childhood cancer center where children can receive medical care regardless of their parent's ability to pay for services.  Their resources are tightly stretched and they already have a waiting list of nearly 60 children in need of treatment.
